Tek Forward Announces Appointment of New Board Member

New Board Member Brings Social Media and Grant Writing Experience

Palmyra, MO: Tek Forward, a local non-profit focused on accessible technical education, announced today that Jessica Manthei, a partner in The Write Place, and Quincy resident, has joined the Board of Directors. The term of the seat is for two years, starting on June 1, 2024.  This brings the total number of Board members to five.

Ms Manthei, a native of Colorado has a Bachelor of Arts in English. Jessi is a wordsmith. She has been a technical writer for over a decade and a business consultant for the last seven years. She’s done grant writing for nonprofits and been a business owner in 3 states. Her specialties include digital marketing, social media strategies, and thinking outside the box.

“I am so excited to be involved in a group that helps build the community,“ says Jessie Manthei.

“We are excited to bring Jessie Manthei on board.  Her years of experience in social media and grant writing, bring much-needed help to our endeavors,” says Luis Barnes, Executive Director and Founder of Tek Forward.  “We continue to search for people that bring a different take on how to accomplish our goals and Jessie fits right in.”
